When the Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence, they announced their secession from England. Texas declared its independence from Mexico on March 2nd, 1836, and it existed as a sovereign nation until 1845 when it was admitted into the United States. Contrary to the claim in the Pledge of Allegiance that the states are “indivisible”, any state can morally and legally secede anytime the people desire it. This presentation will demonstrate that Texas secession is: moral; legal; commonplace; desirable; and attainable.
This presentation lasts about 90 minutes. Previous audiences have asked, “Where can I vote?”
